The Radio Times Guide to Science Fiction:

This sci-fi adventure with an environmental message follows a group of children who undertake a perilous journey in post-apocalyptic Australia. The youngsters are looking for the unpolluted paradise known as New Eden, but the evil Dr Kao (Tim Curry) and his Doom Troopers are determined to stop them and wipe their memories. Curry makes a suitably over-the-top villain and there's enough action here to satisfy younger viewers.
